MotorSports Mafia proudly partners with Fight the War Within Foundation

MotorSports Mafia proudly announces it's newly formed partnership with Fight the War Within Foundation. President of MotorSports Mafia, Michael Gallagher, and Fight the War Within founder Miranda Briggs announced the partnership on Facebook Live on Thursday.
Michael had this to say about the new partnership, "We are honored to be a partner of Fight the War Within Foundation, and look forward to introducing the MotorSports Mafia family and respective racing community to Fight the War Within Foundation."
Fight the War Within Foundation is a 100% all volunteer organization committed to bringing an end to suicide. Members of the Board founded the organization in April 2020, and gained their official incorporation in July of that year. All of the board members are volunteers, so every cent raised goes directly towards their mission. The foundation provides mental health resources through a variety of ways, primarily in the Savannah area but also have partners across the country who help support and promote their mission. Fight the War Within Foundation hosts a free quarterly Intervene Challenge program, which teaches participants how to respond to individuals contemplating suicide in moments of crisis, providing guidance in a proven method to intervene in the moment of crisis and get the individuals to the help that they need. They also have partnered with a local counseling service to provide low/no cost counseling to those who cannot financially manage their own mental health care, often paying for the services directly from the foundation. They have a network of volunteers that allows them to connect those in need to their ever-growing network of mental health and community resources. The foundation also provides motivational care packages to individuals or their struggling with mental illness, as well as provide emergency grants to support partner organizations whose mission aligns with their own. Lastly, the foundation hosts numerous events each month aimed at providing a place of camaraderie, companionship, and peer support, such as our Coffee & Camaraderie events at Tosa Coffee Company in Richmond Hill, Wild Paddle kayak excursions in Rincon, Teen Adventures for at risk teens in the area, and many more.
